Jesus sometimes gave a glimpse of what was coming. Jesus breathes on His
disciples and said receive the Holy Ghost.
Joh 20:22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto
them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:
Later in the book of acts a mighty wind came and the disciples were all filled
with the Holy Ghost.
Act 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing
mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
Act 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak
with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Jesus told a high Jewish leader, you must be born again. The leader didn’t
know what Jesus meant by this. Again Jesus told him, you must be born again to
enter the kingdom of God. Jesus was giving a preview of how God was going to
open the door to His kingdom for all people.
Joh 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except
a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born
of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Later Jesus gave the keys of the kingdom of God to Peter. The keys here
Mat 16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven:
and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and
whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Peter gave the Jews the keys on the day of Pentecost at the birth of the
Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of
you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall
receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
In a later chapter of Acts Peter and others gave the keys to the Samaritans
Act 8:14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria
had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:
Act 8:15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might
receive the Holy Ghost:
Act 8:16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were
baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
Act 8:17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy
We read that peter gave the keys to the gentiles (non Jews)
Act 10:43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name
whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
Act 10:44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them
which heard the word.
Act 10:46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then
Act 10:48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the
Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.
God took a rib out of Adam’s side and made a women.
Gen 2:21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he
slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
Gen 2:22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a
woman, and brought her unto the man.
When Jesus was on the cross his side was pierced by the soldiers and blood
and water came out. From what came from His side God made His bride ( The
Joh 19:34 But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith
came there out blood and water.
When the water is applied in Jesus name the blood of Jesus is applied and
there is remission of sins. How do we know that the blood is applied at
Heb 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without
shedding of blood is no remission.
Mat 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many
for the remission of sins.
Enter into the kingdom of God today. Use the keys that Peter gave to the
people, the keys of knowledge. God only has one set of keys to open the
door to the kingdom of God.
